To be frank, I wouldn't say I'm surprised by the numbers, I would say I'm disappointed. What's the japan music industry becoming like. Yeah I love Arashi, but this year, it's quite disappointing. They gave me the feeling that they are trying to beat AKB48 in terms of sales by releasing 6 singles in a year. To me, I think "Love Rainbow" and "Dear Snow" are plain disappointing. It may sound great at first, but you slowly lose interest in these songs. They probably sold well because they had drama/movie tie-in. And the PV? Johnny should seriously spend a bit more money on it.

"Troublemaker" and "Monster" are my favourite singles in 2010. Both the A-side and B-side are good. And the tune is really unique, catchy. Definitely their best singles of the year. I thought "To be Free" was really a good song!! But it was wayyyyyyyyy too underrated. It did not have B-sides and no drama/movie tie-in. So, it's like repeating what happened to "Everything" last year. "Hatenai Sora" was good! I thought the A-side was too "safe. In other words, average. But I really liked the lyrics. The B-side of "Hatenai Sora" was soooooo outstanding. "Story" was great, loved the tune! "Ano Hi no Merry Christmas" was good too, a very cute song :D

Well... as for albums, I would say "Boku no Miteiru Fuukei" was a good album. Generally the songs are good. Very summer-ish. Wheeee~ And my favourite song in the album is "Summer Splash". Clean and Refreshing. Haha, I didn't really HATE any of the songs, so I guess it's really good, for a studio album. BUT "TIME" ALBUM IS STILL THE BEST.
AND ZOMG, "ALL THE BEST" IS STILL CHARTING!? Placed at #19, sold a total of 342,743 copies this year.

AKB48, don't wish to comment on them. You know I'm going to say nasty stuffs so... yeah.

EXILE did not do well this year. D: I thought they would have a high ranking in albums, because they always do well in albums. But it's okay. They came in 4th for "Artists Total Sales", which is really good. And number 1... needless to say, you know the answer. Tohoshinki came in 2nd!! They beat AKB48, surprisingly. I mean, AKB48 is like, BOOMZ. Uh, anyway congrats! :D

I love Arashi, but I don't wish for them to get overrated. I liked the way they are in the past few years. 10th year anniversary... really working hard for their success. Arashi is not a band that shot up all of a sudden, they worked really hard for the success they have today, step by step. I was especially touched when Nino said they regarded every fan as the 6th member of Arashi. I saw the real Arashi. But this year, I couldn't really feel the passion in them for the second part of the year. They are just releasing singles for the sake of releasing. It's simply tiring them out. Perhaps they should really go for a break(hiatus or something) and make a comeback. Or maybe releasing lesser singles in a year. Afterall, music is about passion and interest, not business.

His smile is priceless~ And Takahiro's hair is OHEMGEE, SUPER NICE! Hope it stays this way. Wheee~~

NTV best artist 2010 was great! :D Love the performances. Heehee. ARASHI'S MEDLEY WAS REALLY COOL! They sang "Believe", "Happiness"(long time since I've been listening to this song. Nonetheless it never fails to cheer me up :D) and "Monster"! Hmm... "Believe" is NOT complete without Sakurap!!! But nevermind, Jun's scissors kick in "Monster" is EPIC LOL!

EXILE! They sang "Choo Choo Train" and "I wish for you"! Great performances! I thought "Choo Choo Train" was really good, dance was epic! And "I wish for you" totally hyped the audience up! I thought this one was better than FNS because Atsushi probably sounded better :D yay! ^^

I love Perfume's! The 3 of them are so cute!! They sang "Polyrhythm" and "Nee", cute as always~ I love Nocchi!

Frankly speaking I've not been following their music for a long time already. Not very fond of young teenage boys also. Haha, I just somehow watched their latest pv - Arigatou Sekai no Doko ni Itemo on Arama.
Hmm.... NOT BAD LEH.
Not VERY fascinated by the tune, but I have to agree that the dance was good(really coordinated) and the PV was well-made(JOHNNY DID SPEND MONEY ON THE PV *jealous arashi fan here*).
Um... how should I describe the song? Kpop-ish? I don't know, but probably because they are still at their puberty stage, I think they sound rather awkward.

geeeez, dramacrazy.net cheated my feelings. They uploaded videos from veoh, and veoh kinda blocked our country AND THE VIDEO IS ONLY A 5 MINUTES PREVIEW.
So no choice, have to watch at tudou. Surprisingly it loads quite fast ^^

Mawang is nice!!! Love the story, I'm at episode 5 now, and the tempo is alright. Sugoiiiiii!~ Hmmm.. how should I say, the story is very 刺激. It gives me a different kind of experience, although I've already watched the Japanese version, and I can sort of guess the story.

Both "Maou" and "Mawang"are nice. Well, the plot is good. It's a very tragic story, to me. If you are watching this drama for it's romance, you will probably drop it halfway. It's not meant to be a romance genre drama, it's more of a mystery/suspense/police drama. Wheeee~ though I really love the romance part and hope for more.

I think both Ohno(Riida) and Joo Ji Hoon acted well as Narase sensei/Oh Seung Ha. It's a character with a lot of 内心戏, and it can only be seen in the later part of the drama. I'm not sure about JJH but I thought he acted well in the first few episodes. Riida, did a great job in portraying Narase sensei, the emotions... the actions, were so good. But he probably lose out to JJH in terms of appearance. Haha no offences but JJH looked more like a lawyer IMO.

Hooooooooooo~ Off to watch Mawang! :D

Helped mummy out with PINEAPPLES today.
She wants to bake pineapple cookies for CNY next year. So... we need the pineapple paste, and today...我磨了23粒黄梨.

30 in total, mum did the other 7. But she cooked the pineapples for 1hr straight... so it's really tedious.

Anyway, B3 outing yesterday was fun! Enjoyed myself though the attendance was not very good.
Gah got buried in the sand -.- Feels quite good wheeeee~ AND I FINALLY REACHED 1000 PHOTOS ON FACEBOOK!

Heehee, because of JJH? Got this addiction after "Goong". I don't think he's really hot/handsome/nice-looking, but I like to see him act. Many said he acted well in "Mawang", so I think I'll watch it.

It's a good drama, with a good plot. The story is really tragic. Some may find it too strong for their liking, but I think it's actually alright. Haha :D

Yah yah yah, that Korean Drama which was aired in 2006? Not sure of the year but I remember when it was aired in Singapore, almost everyone was talking about it.
Have to admit, this drama is good.

Not because of all the romance, but I thought it really made me appreciate the traditional culture in the modern Korea. And how is life in the Royal Family... Life may seem good but in fact, no one is really happy. For a 19-year-old teenager to live in all these conflicts, pressures... how is she able to cope. I mean, the storyline is rather lao tu, but isn't it what audience always like to watch? Haha. I like the way the drama is filmed in a very cheeky and lively manner.

The OST is good! I'm like... addicted? I've always look out nice nice OST in dramas. Can you believe it, I can actually watch a drama because of it's OST. So that's how important OST is to me when it comes to watching dramas. Haha, in "Goong",great combination of western musical instruments and korean traditional music instrument. Love the cello! They used quite a lot of cello for the main melody! Which made me really happy!~
