CRAPSHIT. YAMANADE IS THE BEST DRAMA OF THE SEASON?! I've not finished/watched the other dramas, BUT, I'm sure very Yamanade is NOT the best drama of the season. Alright, winter 2010 is a bit crappy, from what I know, it seems that there isn't a very outstanding drama. BUT YAMANADE DOESN'T DESERVE THE TITLE. Seriously -.-

Many were saying that nikkan sports award = fangirl award. Yes, I admit that I once written that," YAMANADE IS VERY NICE" in one of my posts. But the second part doesn't appeal to me. I've lost interest in it. As for autumn 2009, I felt happy that "My Girl" won the Best Drama awards. But ever since I watched "JIN", I felt that "JIN" should be the one getting the award. "JIN" is much BETTER. In fact, I've started to compare every drama with "JIN"'s standard. "JIN" is way-too-awesome.

BUT THEN,

Went to school for CCA today. YES, 4 out of 5 days are spent with cellomates. How "wonderful"... HAHA,just kidding. Anyway today was the year1 orientation. GOT BURNT BY THE HOTHOTHOT SUN. Sighs...

Went for lunch break with yr2s cellists and simin. HAHA, many epic things happened. Then return to school, camwhoring while waiting for seniors to arrive.

Once again, Sinfonia is screwed. But at least I could play the first movement more smoothly :)

YIPPEE! Watched it with weina and yijia today! Haha. THE MOVIE WAS GREAT! It doesn't worth 2 out of 5 stars *stares at the life section of the newspaper*

The movie was a totally fun and embarrassing one. Totally embarrassed myself at the movie theatre today -.-

I bought nachos. And I finished it so I held it in my hands. My hands was a bit slippery and the box didn't close properly. So the box sort of "bounced" out of my hands and "flew" to the front seat. 丢脸丢到家！Thankfully no one was sitting in front of me, if not it would be more embarrassing. ARGH! Yijia and Weina was laughing like dunno what in the middle of the movie. Hopefully no one sees that D;

Then after *forgets what happened* we were taking the escalator down. And I didn't realise the escalator was going UP! I happily went to the side. Even though yijia pulled, I still went there (seriously dunno what happened to me during that time -.-). Sighs... EMBARRASSED TO THE MAX

But still,today was a really fun day :)

Went to school for seminar. Got confused because SC told is to go for aesthetics(?) But we still went for seminar. Haha.

THE FRONT PART WAS GREAT! I mean, the dancing and cheering. Haven't been cheering for such a long time. PSLs were so HIGH! Haha.

But the seminar part was really boring~ PSLs who went for the BBQ ytd was like dying already. Almost fell asleep, but somehow manage to stay awake for the whole session. LOL.

STRING ENSEMBLE CIP!
It was fun. Wanted to take lots of pictures but in the end didn't. Oh how sad. LOL. This CIP is somehow similar to the PSB one at Marsiling. Hmm, the residents are really very friendly. And there was this uncle who spoke to me for 30 minutes(?), I don't think it's that long but that's what Weina told me. He's very knowledgable. Really, he talks to me about cameras, solar panels and even ways to save electricity! He speaks really clearly. Compared to PSB's, this CIP wasn't so tedious.
On the bus, damn sleepy. I was like sleeping throughout for the whole journey there. Leaning on weina's shoulder, and it's not good because she's too tall -.- When we reached I was still sleeping and listening to songs until weina wakes me up. (and yijia took a photo of me leaning on weina'shoulder. aww, so sweeeet!~)
Return trip I was more energetic, but still slept. LOL, xinni is damn funny. Because we were passing by a cemetry, then I was like,"Eh, Xinni! Your house!" LOL. Then Pauline says,"Jeline, how can you say that? Her house is in the rubbish bin!" Xinni so kelian, kenna bullied by us. Moreover I kept reminding her of the forfeit thing. I think she's gonna kill me. HAHA.

Apparently, Life did a review on Nodame Cantabile which made me superrrr BUSHUANG. They described it till it's like NOT WORTH WATCHING AT ALL! SO DAMN FED UP. CAN'T THEY WRITE SOMETHING BETTER? WILL IT KILL THEM?! obviouslt the one who did the review don't like the drama. Excuse me, if Nodame Cantabile is not EXAGGERATED, then it would not be called as Nodame Cantabile. It's the style of the drama. I don't believe the movie is that bad(i haven't watch it though). But if it's that bad, what for they waste money and film the movie? Moreover, the drama and shinshun SP is so popular in Japan!

I think it really kills for them to write something REALLY GOOD about jmovies. I do agree that they are not as nice as jdramas, but don't have to write until like that right? You gave 2 out of 5 stars. AT LEAST 1-WEEKLY GAVE 3.5 STARS? What's with that major difference?! *angry*

Singapore uses JAPANESE DRAMA OST for the commercial of the dramas that they are showing. I can list 3 for you straightaway.

- "Maou" soundtrack for "一切完美"CM
- "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" soundtrack for "传说中的七公主" (or "传闻中的七公主")CM
- "Iryu" soundtrack for "妙手人心"CM

THEY DON'T EVEN SHOW JAPANESE DRAMAS IN SINGAPORE AND THEY USE THEIR MUSIC?!

They don't even give credits.

ABOUT BAD NEWS (and most of them are unreliable). The Jun's car accident is one example. Where the hell did Mao chan appeared?
Yes, they do report, for the sake of having more readers(?)
EVEN THERE'S A GOOD NEWS, it's amazingingly short.

Remember the BOF wave? They reported on how great the Korean one is, and HOW ORIGINAL the taiwanese one is....AND THEY TOTALLY FORGET ABOUT HANADAN IN JAPAN. I wonder if they really watched it before they did some reviews or what shit. IMO, i think Hanadan is the best version among the three. It's short and sweet. (fyi, I HATE dramas that are slow and draggy)

And there was once where they had the boybands on the cover. YES, ARASHI WAS ON IT :D But, with the dunno-how-long-ago picture. They really reported it for the sake of the recent Korean wave/Taiwanese wave. But the part where they reported on Johnny's was VERY true :)

Then from who-knows-how-long-ago, they reported on Nodame Cantabile Shinshun SP. EXCUSE ME, I SAW HALF OF THE ARTICLE ON NET! (and they never even give credits!)

I mean, there are bad things about the Jpop stuffs on the magazines. I actually prefer to read reviews of dramas or movies. At least it's from the bottom of the journalist's heart (not from the net). BUT I HATE IT WHEN THEY COMPARE. And it's rather obvious when they did watch or didn't watch before they review on it.

Like I've said, I have NOTHING against the current Korean wave. Probably it's because I always didn't like the style of Korean dramas. BUT I'm a 忠实 Jpop fan. Do you know how disappointing it is when you pick up a magazine and see NO Jpop news inside? I know Jpop is not that popular is Singapore, I don't really mind if there's more kpop news and lesser jpop news(at least better than nothing), but at least provide more reliable news! Don't happily kope them from the net and in the end, all the news turn out to be bad news and people have a bad impression of jpop.

Please understand the feelings of jpop fans.

BUT THEN, I've been fangirl-ing for the past few days and watching a lot of dramas (Actually not a lot. I've watched "JIN". Dropped "Bara no nai Hanaya" because tudou is too slow. Now watching "Triangle".) Seriously needs to study now. HAHA.
"Triangle" is quite nice. I'm at episode 3 now. I thought the front part was a little too draggy, a bit too "Ryusei no Kizuna"-ish. But the last scene of every episode are the best! Interesting yo!

接到电话时，实在难掩心中的雀跃。当然，在这兴奋当儿，我也不禁感到失望。。。
就如姿君所说，如果我能在现场跟大家一起分享这份喜悦，那该多好。
我为自己无法参赛而感到难过，感到失落。可是，我又能怎样呢？只好呆在家里，祈祷大家能晋级初赛。

虽然比赛分个人赛和组别赛，但是，这几个星期来，大家一起练习，一起排练，感觉十个人在一起仿佛就是个大团体。每个人从错误中学习，学到了真的真的非常多。何老师也不断的教导我们演戏的技巧，从中大家互相学习。

“比赛不是为了比而比，是为了真正享受其中的乐趣。”

相信同学们都是朝向这个目标而前进。至少我是。虽然每天早上需要早到学校，有时下午也得留下来，甚至要牺牲星期六与星期天的休息时间，但一想到一切努力都付出了成果，这一切都是值得的。刚才接到何老师的电话，非常高兴。他问，我是否还愿意与参赛的同学们一起练习。我当然是一口答应。

我无法参加比赛，这是个遗憾。可是，比赛并不代表一切，我们所付出的努力才是一切。
同学们，虽然我无法陪大家一起并肩作战，但是，我的心会一直陪着你们。我也深深地相信，你们可以进入决赛！加油！

You know, you really shouldn't compare this drama with "Iryu". Because, they are really equally GOOD!

I'm not very fond of period dramas. Moreover this is a medical drama (I used to swear, the only medical drama I would like is "Iryu"). Well, that's probably because I think they will not be anymore dramas that can do as well as "Iryu". If it wasn't for the ending, I would give it a 5 out of 5 stars. The ending is really way-too-disappointing.

The ending for "Iryu" is meant to be a cliffhanger(?). SO PLEASE, THIRD SEASON!! But for JIN, I think it ended too abruptly. I mean, there's so many things that I'm curious about. The formalin(?); And who's that guy with the bandage?; Who's actually Sakamoto Ryoma? If there's another EPISODE(if...), I think the story would be more complete. AND, Minakata sen-sei didn't return to the present!
Okay...Minakata Jin is a doctor living in the twentieth century, and he gets thrown into the Edo period....

Unlike "Iryu", "JIN" focuses more on the developements of medicine. It has lesser "bloody" scenes. Minakata sensei uses his knowledge from the present on the past. AND, it is really amazing. He was able to carry out operations despite a lack of proper medical equipment. And the discovery of Penicilin, it's probably the most impressive part of the drama.

I think the cast for this drama is really great. Osawa Takao, Nakatani Miki, Ayase Haruka...etc. They are great actors and actresses. BUT, the most "outstanding" one have to be the guy that acted as Sakamoto Ryoma. SO DAMN COMICAL! LOL. Koide Keisuke was the one who acted as Saki's brother! At first I don't know who he was(because, you know that hair...), then one of the episode, he shouted. Then I was,"MASUMI CHAN!" LOL-ed. That guy who played the timpani in "Nodame Cantabile". And then Takayama from "Ryusei no Kizuna", and the Misaki from "The Quiz Show II". GREAT CAST!~ And I really love Ayase Haruka as Saki, she acted really well yo! Nakatani Miki, I like the contrast between Tomonaga Miki and Nokaze. It's impossible to bring out the character if you don't have those acting skills. Last but not least, our Minakata sensei! His character is so believable!

Soundtracks! Something I wouldn't miss out when I watch a drama. The Main Title, IT'S AWEOSME! Your emotions really goes with the songs. And theme song by Misia, equally great. (Thing is, I still prefer "Iryu"'s OST.)

In conclusion, this drama is really a must-watch. With such impressive plot, awesome cast, wonderful soundtracks, it's really a waste to not watch this. AND, it's not draggy. That's probably a reason why I love Jdramas so much~

Every morning, need to reach school at 7 (actually I'm always earlier than that, so it doesn't really matters). Early in the morning, brainstorm ideas for stories + acting them out in front of many people. Well, guess it is to build up our courage:)

Monday: Stayed back for PESA
Tuesday: CCA
Wednesday: Workshop/Training(?) for Story Challenge Competition
Thursday: Nothing, but feels extremely tired and feeling unwell.
Friday: CCA until 7 -.-

I mean, I really feel sick now. And I'm really worried. I have rashes on my hands and I have ulcers in my mouth... Guess you can link them to... Sighs

AND, holidays = no holidays.

I seriously need a very good rest.
